Rating Workshop for Coasties: Tokomaru Bay

The Revenue Team at the Gisborne District Council holds regular workshops in Hicks Bay and Tokomaru Bay toward the end of every month (excluding December and January), and East Coast residents can phone GDC to see if Rates can visit their town.

These workshops are a forum where residents can address outstanding rates and Maori land queries kanohi ki te kanohi (face to face).

We see the workshops as a proactive way of breaking down barriers and with the support of Inland Revenue who attend both Hicks Bay and Tokomaru Bay and Te Puni Kokiri who attend Tokomaru Bay, the workshop is a one-stop shop for East Coast residents to acquire the answers they need to move forward with confidence.
